Consultation services are provided for assistance with understanding your property, project planning, pre-design, exploring options, and more.

No matter what kind of service you are interested in, we begin with a consultation for every client.

On-site Consultations:

Starting at $150 for two hours. Additional hours are billed at $50 per hour. Depending on the size of your site to be discussed, more time may be requested. Clients 35+ miles away will be billed at $0.30 per additional mile.

During the consultation, 45 minutes will be spent learning about you, your goals, budget, and discussing the site. Thirty minutes will be spent on my own walking through the site, taking notes, writing suggestions, and sketching. Then 45 minutes will be spent discussing notes, suggestions, and next steps.

You will receive a copy of notes, suggestions, and a rough sketch after your consultation.

Video Consultations:

This type of consultation is desirable if you’re testing the waters, checking out possibilities, and strategies. This may also be desirable if you live outside of range and need some guidance.

Garden & Built Design services are the core of what we do at EG and provide the foundation for beautiful plant-driven outdoor spaces to be experienced year-round.

EG designs are bespoke and artfully-crafted, tailored to your lifestyle and site. While satisfying your aesthetic tastes and needs, they simultaneously create plant communities to support your localized environment. Our built elements go beyond utility, meeting at the intersection of art, craftspersonship, and functionality.

We aim to work with most budgets by providing realistic planning, expectations, and suggestions based on each one. Design pricing is determined by scale and complexity.

For clients that need faster service and/or changes made to a pre-existing garden, Design-on-demand may be better suited. This service is billed at $60 per hour.

Installation services are how we bring our designs to life so you, your family, and friends can begin to enjoy everything your landscape has to offer. During our design process, we collaborate with you to iron out the budget, details, materials, and timeline to inform and propel the installation process.

Garden Stewardship services are ideal for spaces designed by Emergent Gardens and/or landscaped areas that are ready to be taken to the next level.

This type of service utilizes ecologically-friendly practices and enhances your garden through seasonal shifts. Emphasis is place on stewardship that evolves with the garden. Every garden is unique, a living thing - EG’s stewardship services reflect that.

The frequency and complexity of this service depends on your budget as well as the size of the site to be cared for.

Garden Coaching services are available for current clients post-installation. This service is ideal if you want to learn how and gain the confidence to be a steward for your garden.
